How the First 10 Verses of this Surah Could Save Us when Dajjal is in Power

If you are like me, you would have been wondering about Al-Masihi Dajjal (Anti-Christ / False Messiah) since the first time you heard his name. You know that he would be a BIG trouble, and that many would fall under his spell, and you might have learned some time later that the first ten verses from the surah Al-Kahf is the antidote to the dajjal's poison. And like me, you might have been wondering, amongst all the verses and surahs in the Quran, why them? Why the first ten?
Before I Proceed, Credits due to Ustaz Nouman Ali Khan - I heard and learned from his lecture (2016)
"He would be able to make rain, to make barren land fertile, to beautify things like never before, and he would promise that he would reward us if we shift our faiths from Allah to him."
So here's what I have learned from the lecture;
You would first have to know the meanings of the verses, so that you could see how they relate to the situation when the Dajjal comes. Here are the translations of the verses and I'll highlight (bold) the key words for you to bear in mind so you would get the overall picture easier;
Verse 1
[All] praise is [due] to Allah, who has sent down upon His Servant the Book and has not made therein any deviance.
Verse 2
[He has made it] straight, to warn of severe punishment from Him and to give good tidings to the believers who do righteous deeds that they will have a good reward
***
The word 'deviance' in the first verse here is presented to show the meaning of the arabic word ''iwaja', which may also be translated into 'crookedness' or 'waver'. The meaning of this verse is that Allah has revealed that the Quran which contains no crookedness, and shall remain so until forever. It is further strengthened in the second verse where it translates into 'He has made it straight..' as the word 'qaiyyima' which means straight / upright / standing dutifully.
It is said when the Dajjal arrives, the whole world will (already) be in chaos. Everything is crooked - falsehood would be widespread, pillars of morality will waver; be here and there, faith would be easily bought, social compass nonexistent, no one really knows what is right and what is wrong anymore. The arrival of Dajjal would make things even more difficult. So in this situation, the Quran will stay straight - unwaivered, uncrooked, unbent, when everything else is. Therefore, hang on to this verse, this aayah; hang on to Quran, so we will be kept straight on the right path.
Verse 3
In which they will remain forever
***
This verse contains motivational words for the believers to hold on to the Quran and their faith in Allah in the times of trial, and keep doing good things as they will be rewarded with endless (indicating that the reward will be limitless, much greater in comparison to those that they may lost in this dunya) favours from Allah in return.
<Okay. The following verses are now narrating to us of the event of the Young men of the Cave as they are a reference on which we should follow in the situation/condition when we are facing the al Masihi Dajjal>
Verse 4
And to warn those who say, " Allah has taken a son."
Numbe 5
They have no knowledge of it, nor had their fathers. Grave is the word that comes out of their mouths; they speak not except a lie.
***
These two verses relate to a historical event- the one which is related to the event of the 'Young men of the Cave / Ashabul Kahfi / The Youths of the Cave. This event was made biblical; it was celebrated, repeated and retold over the centuries as traditions during annual celebrations by the Christians even before Rasullullah SAW was born. The people twisted the actual event and narrated them in a way that would benefit them despite telling the truth, and the twisted version of the story finally made it to the place and time of the community that lives around Nabi Muhammad Rasulullah SAW. Rasulullah SAW was asked by his people about the story, and so Allah sent these verses to narrate the true version of the event, and to deny the claims made by the Christians. The Christians' version - and the widely spread version of the story had related the Young men of the Cave to their faith, and that faith is that the God (Allah) hath chosen a son (Jesus / Isa AS), and that the Young men of the Cave were made as as saints / deified, (some were made as amulets) / as gateways to heaven. The claim that Allah has a son is a big sin to Allah, and so these verses are warnings to the Christians and anyone who dares to associate Him with any other being. Through this Surah, Allah is also clearing the names of the Young Men from what they were claimed to be - both as the saints and the ones with a different faiths than muslims.
We may not be in the need to use this, not now. But the children of our children might, for it may be it is in their time that the Masihi Dajjal would be around.
Number 6
Then perhaps you would kill yourself through grief over them, [O Muhammad], if they do not believe in this message, [and] out of sorrow.
***
This verse is to console Muhammad Rasulullah SAW (and also the da'is of Islam indirectly), and to remind him that he should not overly saddened and hurt himself if his people (the Quraisy) refused to believe him and this message. Rasulullah SAW was pressured and saddened by the condition of the people in Makkah because despite his many efforts, still many of the Quraisy and his people refused to revert their faith back to Allah. His depression was up to a point that he might have actually hurt himself, so Allah sent him this verse to console him.
Number 7
Indeed, We have made that which is on the earth adornment for it that We may test them [as to] which of them is best in deed
Number 8
And indeed, We will make that which is upon it [into] a barren ground.
***
Apart from reminding us in the now that everything made in this world is a mean of distractions from us to perform our duties, these verses are for us to hang on to in the time of Dajjal. Dajjal would be given abilities (by Allah who intends to give ultimate test for us) to perform miracles, and to use worldly attractions to gain followers. He would be able to make rain, to make barren land fertile, to beautify things like never before, and he would promise that he would reward us if we shift our faiths from Allah to him. We must remember that it is Allah who had allows such beautification to happen and in the end Allah will turn everything and all the adornments into dust and spread the earth to a barren ground on which the judgement day will take place.
Number 9
Or have you thought that the companions of the cave and the inscription were, among Our signs, a wonder?
Number 10
When the young men fled for refuge to the Cave and said "Our Lord! Give us mercy from Thy Presence, and shape for us right conduct in our plight"
[Mention] when the youths retreated /fled for refuge to the Cave and said, "Our Lord, grant us from Yourself mercy and prepare for us from our affair right guidance."
***
Allah is saying (to us and the people of Muhammad) that if you think that the event of the Ashabul Kahfi amazing then that event is only one of the events He had made wondrous - which relates to other stories in this Surah and also around us the many wonders as His signs. And Allah begins sharing with us the story of the the Ashabul Kahf, by teaching us the dua they made while they were seeking refuge from the evil King.
This is the very same dua we should recite when we pray to Allah for His protection and guidance from falling for Dajjal. See, now The King in the event of Ashabul Kahf is similar to Dajjal, and the Young Men of the Cave is similar to us. And we are seeking help from Allah to save our faiths with this Dua.
Last but not least...
Abu Ad-Darda reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever memorizes ten verses from the beginning of Surah Al-Kahf will be protected from the False Messiah.”
In the narration of Shu’bah, the Prophet said, “…from the last ten verses of Surah Al-Kahf.”

I hope with this writing, I have been able to send across to you how the first ten verses of the surah Al-Kahf could be of help to us in the time Dajjal. Some would say that we may not be in the need to use this, not now. But the children of our children might, for it may be it is in their time that the Masihi Dajjal would be around.
The truth is, the lesson and knowledge from this surah is timeless, that they also could be of help to us even now, in times when our morality and social compasses are wavering, in the time of confusion between whether things are right or wrong, and the results of our honest and noble decisions have led to disastrous results and vice versa. Which serves as the hadeeth from the prophet Muhammad SAW on the Surah; “Whoever recites Surat al-Kahf on Friday will have a light between this Friday and the next.” - meaning that if we keep this Surah close to our hearts, learn the words and understand the lessons, InsyaAllah we will be guided even during through the hardships we are facing in the now.
So I guess that's all for this time. Maybe in the future I would be blessed with the understanding on the last 10 aayahs of the Surah too. I am indeed a working on my relationship with the Quran. However, I hope that my small effort in sharing would be beneficial to all. I apologize for mistakes, if any, because i just wont be bothered (yet) to proofread for spellings and grammatical errors for my writings in here. Hope that's fine with you guys too.
May Allah guide my words in my effort to spread His words and wonders, may Allah bless us with the knowledge and understanding of His verses of the Quran, may He grant us the ability to have a wonderfully intimate and tight relationship with the miraculous Quran, and may Quran be our hujjah / defense in the times when there is no other could be around.
